The Winchester Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America is excited to announce its 2024 Elaine Evans Embroidery Show OUR WORLD IN STITCHES. The exhibition will be held from April 20th to May 10th at Godfrey Miller Center. Address: 28 S Loudoun St., Winchester, VA 22601. This year we invite everyone to join us for a worldwide embroidery adventure, celebrating the diversity of this timeless art form. Experience the artistry with live stitching demonstrations, make-it-take-it kits, and welcoming stitch-ins. We look forward to your creative contributions!
Everybody is welcome to display his or her own works or treasured heirlooms and attend the show.
SUBMISSION IS FREE! NO ENTRY FEES!
SUBMISSIONS will be accepted in person on the following days:
Sunday, April 14, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – SUBMISSION DEADLINE

EXHIBITION HOURS (April 20th – May 10th)
Monday – Thursday: from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On Sundays, everyone is welcome to join us for an afternoon of stitching.
OUR WORLD IN STITCHES will be open during the Shenandoah Valley Apple Blossom Festival and Artisan and Crafter Show.
Godfrey Miller Center is a historic house in Old Town Winchester. It proudly houses the Shenandoah Valley Tapestry, a 4 by 6 feet community embroidery, depicting 34 historic buildings of Winchester and its surroundings.
