KidzFest will return this year! This free, family-friendly event features exhibits highlighting education, art, music, and more! Some of this year’s activities include:
- Library card sign-ups with Handley Library
- Creating origami animals with the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley
- Making and decorating paper fans with the Youth Development Center
- Giant chess and other challenge activities with Shenandoah Valley Chess Club
- Trial classes with Armstrong Irish Dance Academy
- Dance demonstrations from Dance Ambassadors
- Art activities with Arte Libre
- Susie the Clown 12-4pm
- Live performances and drop-in classes with the Selah Theatre Project 12-5pm
- Obstacle course with Winchester Parks & Recreation
- Summer at Sacred Heart
- Lego derby track and cut-out picture signs with Boy Scouts of America
- Book-making with Literacy Volunteers Winchester Area
- Steve Gryb, the Pied Piper of Percussion, from Miami, Florida, will presents “The Percussion Petting Zoo” activity/attraction. This hands-on activity will feature percussion instruments from around the world that everyone can touch, play, explore, and have fun making sounds. 12-5pm
