KidzFest! 2024

Join us in Old Town Winchester on Saturday, June 8 between 12-5 PM to experience a fun, free day out for the whole family as we partner with our friends and neighbors from all across the community to provide hands-on entertainment, arts & crafts activities, educational opportunities, musical performances, fun games, engaging workshops, and so much more!

Here are some of the attractions to look forward to at KidzFest 2024:

SHOWS & ENTERTAINMENT

  • J. Edward Ford dazzles and delights with close-up magic & illusions!
  • Free face painting and caricatures for little ones!
  • Spot the strolling juggler on the Old Town Pedestrian Mall!
  • Touch-a-Truck with Winchester Fire & Rescue and the Winchester Police Department—and say hi to some cute canines!
  • GRAMMY-nominated singer and storyteller Ray Owen educates through song with three unique and zany performances at the Taylor Pavilion at 12:15 PM, 1:15 PM & 2:15 PM!
  • Bingo at the Taylor Pavilion from 3-4 PM with awesome prizes!
  • Summit Events rocks the house with a dance party and photo booth on the old courthouse lawn!

ARTS, CRAFTS & ACTIVITIES

  • Girls on the Run leads participants in a friendship bead making activity!
  • Arte Libre VA teaches a paper marbling workshop to create stunning works of art!
  • Create your own poetry with the Walking Mall Poet!
  • Alyssa and Beverly Samuel, authors of Make New Friends, promote cultural awareness with a coloring activity!
