On September 27th and September 28th, Rouss City Hall will become a historical crime scene as part of a new Murder Mystery Tour event.
Can you solve the mystery? Who’s behind the sinister plot? Enjoy an educational and mysterious guided tour through the historic Rouss City Hall in Old Town Winchester. Be amazed as you travel through time, discover clues and solve the mystery of who committed the murder! This 113-year-old, six-level building (including attic) holds plenty of secrets and characters from the past to keep you guessing and entertained.
Tickets are on sale now at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center at 1400 S. Pleasant Valley Road. Tickets will also be sold every quarter hour on the days of the tour. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the tour of your choice at the corner of Rouss Avenue and Cameron Street (alley next to Rouss City Hall). The tour will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete.
Evening Tours: Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28 – 6:30 – 9:00 pm – $12 in advance, $15 at the gate
Matinee Tours: Saturday, September 28 – 2:00 – 4:00 pm – $8 in advance, $10 at the gate
NOTE: Several stairways will be used throughout the tour with limited elevator access.
Only 12 people will be allowed on each tour. Purchase your tickets early to ensure your spot. Space is limited.
