Unwind and enjoy all that Old Town Winchester has to offer at Friday Night Live (FNL). Returning for a seventh year, Friday Night Live is the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends, shop, dine and enjoy great live music, street performers and artisans. The Taylor Pavilion will be the main venue for performances every third Friday in June, July and August (ticket required), however, the Loudoun Street Mall will be filled with family-friendly acoustic music, street performers, and activities (free).
This year, cover bands will perform songs with different genres of music than featured in the past. There will be southern rock, classic rock from the 70s and 80s, even current songs from the 2000’s. FNL is a great way to end the work week!
On June 21st Friday Night Live will feature the southern rock band, Brickyard Road Band – A Lynyrd Skynyrd-style band. From start to finish, this band will play classic hits like Workin’ for MCA, Sweet Home Alabama, and Free Bird. A DJ, tent and chairs will also be set up on the Old Courthouse lawn to accommodate additional patrons from the 2019 HOG Rally being held in Winchester that week.
June Friday Night Live! Schedule:
- 5:00 Gates Open
- 5:30 Sons of Liberty
- 7:30 Brickyard Road
- 10:30 Last Call
- 11:00 Event Ends
July’s lineup will feature the award-winning Mid-Atlantic regional band, The WORX. The WORX plays everything from Journey to Flo Rida during their show. They are a real crowd pleaser and regional favorite! The WORX will bring all demographics to their shows due to their wide variety of tunes.
August’s FNL event will welcome back a Winchester favorite, the Robbie Limon Band, who will perform hits from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Limon performs all over region and packs the Taylor Pavilion every time he performs. His mix of cover songs will be sure to have you on your feet dancing and enjoying your night in Old Town Winchester.
