Handley Regional Library System, in partnership with the Virginia Center for Literary Arts (VCLA), features their next author talk on March 2 at 2PM at Handley Library in Winchester. The author talk features Tim Denevi who will read from his latest book Freak Kingdom: Hunter S. Thompson’s Manic Ten-Year Crusade Against American Fascism. VCLA’s Founding Director, Sean Murphy, and the author will discuss the process of writing his book and the contemporary literary scene followed by an open Q&A. Signed books will be available for purchase through the Winchester Book Gallery. The program is free and open the public and is sponsored by the Friends of the Handley Library.
