The Old Town Winchester Business Association has changed the format for this year’s Halloween event on the Old Town Mall on October 26, 2019.
It will not be the Spooktacular trick or treat event from 2pm to 4pm. Instead we are planning the Olde Towne Winchester Halloween Faire to be held between 4pm and 7pm.

The intent is to create a Carnival atmosphere for one and all with games and activities for kids. We feel that this will be more enjoyable for families and will engage them with the Old Town merchants in a way that the usual ‘trick or treat’ can’t do. We are asking all merchants to create some type of kid’s game or activity and present it in front of their business, using treats as prizes. Or the merchants can simply give out treats if they wish.

At 7pm there will be a free showing of the 1993 film ‘Hocus Pocus’ at the Taylor Pavilion, courtesy of Winchester Parks & Recreation, Skyline Indie Film Fest, Polka Dot Pot and Murphy Beverage Company. Please bring lawn chairs.

In addition the Apparition Trail Ghost Tours will offer a complimentary haunted history walk of Old Town at sunset.
