10AM-Midnight: Ring in the New Year at First Night Winchester 2022 in Old Town Winchester, Virginia!
Celebrate the 35th anniversary in Winchester. Since 1987, First Night Winchester has been a New Year’s Eve time-honored tradition in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. First Night Winchester is a family-friendly, alcohol-free, arts enriched, community event. It is the 3rd oldest, of its kind, in the country.
Enjoy the 14-hour day at an affordable price that includes a variety of performers who will entertain the very young to the young-at-heart with exotic wildlife animals, bubbles, comedy, toe-tapping music, an apple countdown and midnight fireworks. More than 40 performers will be joining First Night Winchester. Venues include Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, Handley Regional Library, Espresso Bar & Cafe, Winchester Book Gallery, and several Old Town churches in the historic district of Winchester.

Parking in the downtown garages will be free to everyone from December 31, 2021 beginning at 5pm and ending January 1, 2022 at 11am thanks to Bayliss Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.
COURTYARD by Marriott is offering a reduced rate on NYE but travelers can choose from a variety of hotels where they can wake refreshed from the festivities before heading to the Trails at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. The Trails at the MSV is a free-admission art park on 90 acres, The Trails at the MSV features outdoor art installations and miles of trails for walking, running, and bicycling through fields, woods, and wetlands; open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk.
