WINCHESTER, VA – This June through September, the free Sunday Concert Series is returning to Old Town Winchester offering live music from a variety of genres on the third Sunday of the month. Sunday Concerts, presented by United Bank, premieres on Sunday, June 21st, at the Taylor Pavilion on the Loudoun Street Mall from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.
Make plans to have lunch or shop in beautiful Old Town on July 21st before taking in the concert featuring SV Jazz at the newly renovated Taylor Pavilion, behind the newly renovated Taylor Hotel. The four piece ensemble group consists of tenor sax, trombone/cornet, guitar, and acoustic bass. Bring seating or utilize the built-in stone benches or grass areas.
The second concert on July 19th will feature “Certified Organic & Gluten Free Modern Folk Music” by Cabin Creek of Fredericksburg.
On August 23th, Michael Stevenson, a local favorite, will be playing his style of Americana/Folk acoustical music.
SV Jazz will return for the final concert on September 20th playing a set list of the “Best of Frank Sinatra.”
In inclement weather, the concerts will be moved to The Tap Room at The Taylor Smokehouse restaurant.
There will be ample convenient parking available in the Braddock Street parking garage (located adjacent to the Taylor Pavilion area).
