Holly Jolly Celebration

Come spend some time in Old Town this holiday season. During our Holly Jolly Celebration, enjoy caroling and holiday activites including free holiday wagon rides from 1-3 p.m. Specials at shops and restaurants all day.

Families are invited to drop by the Handley Regional Library any time between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to enjoy a festive atmosphere of holiday music and take part in a variety of activities. Create a make-and-take holiday craft, play the North Pole ring toss, relax and watch nostalgic animated holiday programs, listen to a story in the reading corner, and enjoy a special treat!

Want to go shopping in the great stores in Downtown Winchester, but don’t have a babysitter? Problem Solved! From 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum will provide a fun and safe environment for your child(ren) while you pick up something special for someone special. Ages 5-up. Pre-registration up to December 12: $8.00; Registration on December 13: $10.00. Snacks will be available. *Additional charge for late pick up applies.
