Classic Movie Night is back for a third year. This event provides the opportunity to enjoy dinner at one of 35 different Old Town Winchester restaurants, stroll through and shop at 60 unique shops and sit beneath the stars to watch a classic movie.
The film for August 12th will be Citizen Kane. Rated as the American Film Institute’s Greatest American Film of all Time, Orson Welles’s 1941 epic tale of a publishing tycoon’s rise and fall is inventive, poignant and hugely entertaining – a landmark achievement in film. Rated PG; 119 minutes.
Classic Movie Night is screened by Magic Lantern Theater, Winchester’s classic film go-to since 2001 and sponsored by Greenfield Living Center.
The community is encouraged to bring seat cushions, blankets or chairs. Also, feel free to bring a picnic to eat or bring a to-go dinner from a restaurant in Old Town Winchester. This is a perfect event to cuddle up with a special someone and enjoy a blast from the past with an old- fashioned dinner and a movie
