The City of Winchester is extending the Old Town Winchester Farmers Market season and opening a fall market in October and November. The market will be located at the Taylor Pavilion, just off the Loudoun Street Mall, beginning October 1. This is the same location as the summer market.
The City is now accepting vendor applications for the fall market. The composition of the market will change as different fruits and vegetables are in season. “We anticipate being able to offer more pies and baked goods during the fall market in addition to eggs and fresh local produce,” comments Jennifer Bell, Downtown Manager. Several vendors with the current market will continue but we are looking for additional vendors.
The goal of the Old Town Farmers Market is to provide fresh, local food and agricultural products directly from farmers and producers to residents, while creating an enjoyable atmosphere that contributes to a prosperous downtown and promotes a sense of community in Old Town Winchester.
