Children's Book WeekChildren’s Book Week: The Winchester Book Gallery is celebrating the 95th Annual Children’s Book Week with special book readings every day from May 12 to May 18. Readings will be held at 10am, 2pm and 4pm each day during the week. The hour long event will also include a small activity and a treat for the children. Read more.

 

Winchester Little Theatre Crimes of the HeartWinchester Little Theatre Presents: Crimes of the Heart: Winchester Little Theatre will be presenting the “Crimes of the Heart” by Beth Henley as the final show in their 2013-2014 season. Directed by Barbara Swink, the show runs the weekends of May 15-18, and 22-24. Read more.

 

Old Town Winchester Kidz Fest!Kidz Fest: Gather your kids and join us in Old Town Winchester for a full day of fun and learning at the first ever Kidz Fest! This all day event is centered on four main areas: education, art, music and sports. The event will be held at the newly renovated Taylor Pavilion. Read more.

 

First Presbyterian ChurchHistoric Church Tour: Preservation of Historic Winchester, Inc. is sponsoring a tour of local church buildings, highlighting four local churches in historic Old Town Winchester. The tour is part of PHW’s commemoration of National Preservation Month, held every May to celebrate the nation’s historic buildings and their preservation for future generations. PHW is highlighting churches specifically to raise awareness not only of their history and architecture, but also of the unique challenges of preserving places of worship. Read more.
