Magic Lantern Theatre Presents: The House I Live In: The Magic Lantern Theater will screen the “The House I Live In” (NR) at 2pm on Saturday, March 15th in the Handley Library. The documentary addresses the twin issues of the drug war and the accompanying upward spiral of prison incarceration in the U.S. The San Francisco Chronicle calls it “a compelling, thought-provoking look at a highly relevant topic.” Admission is free, though donations are accepted. Bright Box Theatre St. Patrick’s Day Celebration: Put on your green and get ready for a good time! The Bright Box Theatre is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a special day of Irish music, food and fun on Sunday, March 16th at 4pm. The party will have live music by Runa with special guests Michael Stribling and Chamomile & Whiskey. Attendees will also be treated to a full Irish tea bar, imported Irish cheeses, a soda bread bar and more! Other libations will be available at a cash bar. Read more.
