Writing Workshop at Handley Library

David HazardThe Friends of Handley Regional Library will present David Hazard, on Wednesday, October 23rd  beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Handley Library Auditorium.  Mr. Hazard, will talk on the topic of Finding Your Power as a Writer.  He will talk about a writer’s power, and the secret of “sale-ability,” that comes when writers discover a potency called their “voice.” This voice is what gives strength, depth and interest to anyone’s writing and is important to publishers and editors. It also distinguishes writers from each other.

David Hazard, the presenter, is a 34-year veteran of publishing.  He is the author of more than 30 books, several of which have become international bestsellers. He has also been an industry insider, having worked as an editorial director, associate publisher, and an author and product development specialist.  He has helped to launch the careers of nearly 250 authors. His talks have been very popular with local audiences coming to Handley Library.
