Admission is only $3 (or more if you feel generous tonight). The first variety show was held on Sept. 11, 2010, to raise funds after two Shenandoah students were assaulted in Jim Barnett Park. All proceeds go to the Winchester Medical Center Foundation, which helps cover medical expenses for patients who need financial aid. The show is presented on or near Sept. 11 each year because it’s also significant to the students that we come together as a community in support of each other and to symbolically take a stand against violence of all kinds.
