Winchester, VA Listed As Top Destination for Country Music Fans

Patsy Cline Historic has listed Winchester, Virginia as one of eight exciting destinations for country music fans, citing the the Patsy Cline Historic House as a highlight.  The home, which is located in Old Town Winchester, is where the “Walkin’ After Midnight” singer grew up from ages 16 to 21.  It’s now open for tours and features many of Cline’s possessions.

“Visitors can also stop by the WINC-AM radio station where Cline began her music career, the drugstore where she worked as a soda jerk and the cemetery in which she is buried,” the article continues.
