Happening This Weekend

Mall RededicationOld Town Mall Rededication: Come celebrate with the Old Town Winchester community this weekend at the Old Town Mall Rededication Celebration!  The Old Town Mall’s renovation, which began in January, has brought a new look to the heart of Winchester as well as many upgraded utilities and amenities. The formal part of the Rededication will take place this Friday at 4pm.  The ceremony will include the official ribbon cutting and presentation of bricks at the Loudoun Street Mall’s Piccadilly Street entrance with the plaque dedication to follow. Saturday will be a family-friendly celebration with lots of fun events taking place from noon to 4pm, including an  ice cream social, activities for children, music, and more.  Read more.

You Know I Can't Hear You...Winchester Little Theatre Presents: You Know I Can’t Hear You…: Winchester Little Theatre will be running a production of Robert Anderson’s play “You Know I Can’t Hear You When The Water Is Running.” Directed by Joan Scorgie, the show runs every weekend from from May 10th through May 25th.  Read more.

 

MakeNest InteriorsMakeNest Interiors Open House: MakeNest Interiors is moving and they’re celebrating with an open house event!  Formerly located in the Bright Center, the home decor shop is re-opening in the heart of Old Town Winchester at 1 South Loudoun Street.  The event will take place this coming Saturday, May 18th from 6pm to 9pm and will include live jazz, snacks, and libations.  Make sure to stop in to see their new store!  Read more.

Fort Loudoun Day

Fort Loudoun Day: Winchester’s French and Indian War Foundation invites you to their annual celebration and hoisting of the British flag at Fort Loudoun. Taking place Saturday, May 18th, the event is a great educational event for children and adults, with tours of the Ft. Loudoun site and a formal program and ceremony. Read more.
