Old Town Winchester is located within the center of our 45-block National Register Historic District and features a quaint pedestrian mall bursting with outdoor cafés, fun shops, specialty retail shops, and fun activities throughout the year.
It has earned a listing on the National Register of Historic Places Travel Itinerary as a place that successfully combines history, century old buildings and museums with the vitality of an ideal and charming downtown atmosphere.
Located in the heart of the oldest city west of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Old Town Winchester is a place where you can stroll the streets that George Washington, Stonewall Jackson, Admiral Richard E. Byrd, and Patsy Cline all trod.”
