United Bank Bloomin' Wine FestUnited Bank Bloomin’ Wine Fest: The 85th Annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival officially kicks off this weekend with the United Bank Bloomin’ Wine Fest!  Starting Friday, April 27th at 3pm, the two-day event brings numerous wineries to Old Town Winchester for wine tastings as well as tons of live music and over 30 artisans and vendors, which will be set up along the Pedestrian Mall in addition to our great local businesses.  Read More.

Magic Lantern TheaterMagic Lantern Theater Presents Two Films on U.S. Educational System: On Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m., the Magic Lantern Theater and the Friends of Handley Regional Library will screen two, one-hour documentaries: “The Inconvenient Truth of Waiting for Superman,” and “The Finland Phenomenon” which examine the U.S. educational system.  Discussion follows each film.  The event is in the library auditorium and is free & open to the public.
