Holiday House Tours

Anyone who has taken a stroll through Old Town Winchester can tell you that there’s no shortage of beautiful historic homes.  This weekend, visitors will be able to tour the gorgeous houses as part of the 35th Annual Holiday House Tour, put on by the non-profit organization Preservation of Historic Winchester.  Each home is decorated for its time period as well as the holiday season.

A preview party and candlelight tour will take place Saturday December 3rd from 6pm to 9pm, with daylight tours taking place Sunday the 4th from 1pm to 5pm.  Admission for Saturday’s Preview Party is $30 for PHW members and $40 for non-members, while Sunday’s daylight tour tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  Advance tickets can be purchased from these locations:

  • The Final Yard, 33 East Gerrard Street
  • Kimberly’s, 135 North Braddock Street
  • Winchester Book Gallery, 185 North Loudoun St.
  • PHW’s Office at the Hexagon House, 530 Amherst St.
Advance tickets will also be sold at the Bough and Dough Shop at the Winchester Little Theatre, 315 W. Boscawen St., which will be open December 3, 10am to 5pm, and December 4, 12pm to 5pm.
